Groznyavia (Grozny) is looking to take delivery of its first SSJ 100/95 from Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) before year end Russia's Aviation Explorer reports. At the MAKS Aviation Salon held in August, Chechen Deputy Transport Minister Alvi Shakhgiriyev told reporters that the Chechen government had placed an order for seven of the passenger jets and one SSJ 100 VIP model with delivery scheduled for early 2014 onwards. The Chechen carrier operates four Yak-42s on flights from Grozny to Makhachkala and Moscow Vnukovo.
