CH-Aviation was founded by Thomas Jaeger in 1998, in 2002 Martial Saugy has joined him.
He is mainly taking care of the Airbus and Fokker production lists and airline histories.
Christian Philipp Söhngen was the third guy to join the CH-Aviation team, he has further
helped us to develop production lists and is in charge of the Boeing and McDonnell Douglas production lists.
The goal of our work is to deliver up to date and interesting information and background reports to aviation
enthusiasts, spotters as well as people working in the airline industry.
Our website has just been completely relaunched, our aim was to better our website by concentrating
on our strengths (i.e. news, production lists, Swiss aviation, LCC database) and improving the capabilities
of those databases and pages. As you might have found out already, the website is now available in English only.
There is one simple reason behind this change: Time. It has just taken too much time to keep the website up to
date and to do that in both German and English. As most Germans understand English and given the high number
of non-German speaking visitors, we decided to go for English instead of German.
